Exceptional Care for Craniofacial Disorders

Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health Cleft & Craniofacial and Facial Plastics Team is a multidisciplinary network of experienced and qualified physicians and healthcare professionals coordinated through a partnership among the LSU Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the LSU Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. This team works together to coordinate the care of children with cleft and craniofacial disorders, and thoroughly evaluates and supports patients physically, emotionally and socially.

Our team of specialists develops a comprehensive, individualized plan of treatment for each child and meets on a regular basis to organize the specific follow-up appointments needed. The team is nationally designated by the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association and see the full spectrum of craniofacial disorders

All recommendations made by our Cleft & Craniofacial and Facial Plastics Team will be discussed with the parents as well as the child’s pediatrician and other specialists involved in their care.
