Volunteer Testimonials

“I volunteer at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital because I love what they do for the children and families of Baton Rouge. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful children's hospital in Baton Rouge, and I want to support them in any way that I can. My weekly trip to the hospital leaves me with such a good feeling, knowing that my interaction with the families may have made their day a little less stressful and comforted them during such a difficult time.” –L.B.

"One thing that I love about my volunteer work with the Children's Hospital is the powerful, unmatched sense of purpose that I receive each and every time I make a sick child or worried parent feel better or crack a subtle smile. There is no other feeling like it in world. Love is a powerful healing force in our lives; volunteering helps me give and get love in return." – R.M.
