Child Life Specialists

The Child Life Specialists at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital work as child advocates, helping diminish patients' fears and anxiety before, during and after medical procedures. Our specialists meet with children to describe in easy-to-understand terms, what they can expect from their stay at the hospital and provide therapeutic play to provide comfort and reassurance to the children.
