Our Lady of the Lake's Pediatric Psychiatry department offers both inpatient and outpatient services. Our highly trained, approachable psychiatrists treat everything from emotional problems to mood and developmental disorders.

They are educated in the latest behavioral medicine practices and will conduct an assessment of your child's mental health, often after interviewing the family and other care providers before recommending treatment with or without drugs. The role of our psychiatrists is to identify and diagnose mental health problems and educate families about how to minimize their impact.
